Some of this, some of that….
Well, the OC Celtic Festival was a blast. I got to work with Rusty Happenings aka Christopher Yates http://www.rustyhappenings.com/ and George the Giant http://www.georgethegiant.com/ and it was great deal of fun. The festival was in a very nice location. Lots of green and trees. The weather was beautiful, and the crowds showed up early. I definetly think this will be one of the best festivals around. Your’s truly was the official Bard of the event. I even ran a kids talent program…(well, the spirit was there, anyway), and heard a lot of good music, and saw a lot of my friends, Queen Medb, members of the SCA, the Seige engines of CRAC, Torc Dubh, and many more. I would definetly recommend this event in the future. ÂÂ
Among other things, I went to the los angeles storytelling festival http://www.lastorytellingfestival.com/ and saw a great many of my friends in the story community. Diane Ferlatte rocked, as usual, and all the other tellers were really, really good. My tam is off to all the volunteers that did the hard work at the festival.
The holiday season is upon us, and I would love to hear from folks. If you have not heard from me in a while, I live now in Newbury Park, CA, and you can contact me at truethomas -at- sbcglobal.net.ÂÂ
In anycase, everyone have a grand holiday season, and I look forward to a great new year. Blessings.
