No, Really, it’s working….
I’ve had the darndest time getting this blog going as of late. It may be the anti-cookie/ad/spyware software, or some other silly thing. Arrgh. But I’m here! Let’s see- I just did the shows in Burbank (part of the Ride a Wild Tale series.) Out there doing the western gig. I told my favorite Pecos Bill, Coyote stories. It turned out that a previous teller had done Pecos Bill, and played the bones…tarnations. I also got a chance to go out to Catalina, and perform at the Avalon library. Yeehaw! Took the ferry out, and back, had a great time tooling around in a golfcart, and saw some dolphins on the way back in. I have to say, all the librarians I worked with were wonderful, and the kids were pretty well behaved. I have some Celtic shows coming up, and am looking at dates for some workshops. I saw an interesting movie called “what the #$%& do we know?” it talks about quantum physics, probabilities, and emotional responses- why we do what we do. I don’t agree with everything, but I think it’s a great movie to see with an erudite friend, and have some coffee enhanced dialogue afterwards! I’m going to have some new snapshots added, and there are some new articles, so check them out when you get the chance….Also Michael D. McCarty had front page in the Los Angeles Calender (29th of July), and did a great job of talking up storytelling. Mr.D McC, had got the Mojo working- Baby! Leave a message!
