A Swap and a Class, and no fire?
So on Saturday, I had the opportunity to be the Emcee for the So.Ca. Storytelling Swap Festival, hosted by Prophets and Liars- hit the link and check out the Pictures. The event went pretty well, and I got to see a bunch of my friends, and hear some great stories. Emcee’ing and event like this is only hard because you have limited time, and great tellers. It was nice see you folks!
And on Monday I taught a class for the Learning Annex, “how to be a Master Communicator” not my choice for a title and hyperbole, but a challenge and great opportunity to meet folks from a wide variety of walks of life. It was a good class, but I still seem to try to put too much into the class. I need to pare it down a bit.
And next up is the SCA Potrero war, where unfortunately, there is not going to be any campfires…but we will have stories and music, etc. Come join us for the Concerts on Sunday. I will be at the Potrero County Library at 3:30, on Friday and hopefully, will be joined by some of my SCA Colleagues as well! It’s been a busy couple of days. If you are going to the war, print out some flyers and pass the word on the concert, and bring songs to share!
